The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course:

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt areas of knowledge.

The Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control "DMAIC" methodology is presented with numerous case studies and examples drawn from service, business process, and manufacturing applications. Selected Lean Manufacturing and System Dynamics concepts are integrated with Six Sigma in this course, including value

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course:

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt areas of knowledge.

Selected Lean Manufacturing and System Dynamics concepts are integrated with Six Sigma in this course, including value stream mapping, Takt time, line balancing, standardized work, continuous flow, Little’s Law, Kaizen, quick changeovers, and pull scheduling.

This course is instructor lead, deliverd in a state of the art class room with full multi-media capability and wifi. Each session is 3.75 hours. In order to sucessfully complete this course students will need to commit to an addtional 10 hours per week of study outside the classroom.

  • Upon the completion of this course, you will be able to:
  • Lead teams in applying the Six Sigma D-M-A-I-C methodology to eliminate waste
  • Define improvement projects to satisfy the customer
  • Measure inputs and outputs to provide meaningful data
  • Analyze data to identify the root cause of variability
  • Improve the process to reduce variability
  • Control the process to prevent backsliding and consolidate the gains

This course is taught by an ASQ Certified Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over 20 years of industry experience and. This course will prepare you to sit for the ASQ certification the most respected and recognized industry.Upon completion of this course you will be prepared to sit for the ASQ Exam.
